Very beautiful place, to visit, painting, sculpture, and the different exhibitions, that this museum presents to us, welcoming staff and explains to us well, the different documents, that the museum exhibits.

Museum at the old archbishop's palace

Very nice little museum housed in a few rooms of the episcopal palace, just waiting to find room to spread out. Very friendly caretakers and reception. Free museum. Local and archaeological collections waiting to join their exhibition hall with the magnificent Gallo-Roman surrounding wall, medieval objects (statuary, tapestries, alabaster altarpieces, naughty clocks ...), paintings and modern art collection. Some rooms are still made up of many decorative elements from the episcopal palace. And THE highlight of the show, the two Gallo-Roman bronzes, whose Jupiter deserves to be compared to the famous Bronzes of Riace in Italy. Worth a detour.
