Nice Cathedral, but nothing special about it. Of course you must go there if you are in Nancy. But you don't have to go to Nancy for the Cathedral. Reims of course. And also Toul, just round the corner from Nancy. Very nice and big Cathedral there.

Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation Cathedral of Nancy or in simple English Nancy Cathedral. It is about 300 years old. Location is very convenient, very close to Place Stanislas. We visited on a Monday. It was quite and peaceful. We spent some time enjoying the ambiance and browsing the beauty of it's architecture, paintings and the details. It was a very pleasing experience.

Big and magnificent Baroque style cathedral in Nancy. They broke ground in the 18th century and finished building it in the century. It is a national monument and the seat of the Bishop of Nancy and Toul. Sculptors and structure are very detailed. Location is excellent as it is in the center, right in front of several restaurants.

This cathedral is dedicated to King Sigebert III and the Virgin Mary; Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Annonciation et Saint-Sigebert. This is baroque style architecture at its glorious representation! King Sigebert III was laid to rest here and became a pilgrimage for both religious and secular populus. It's absolutely stunning inside especially the domes on the transept and the main Apse. The Great organ gallery is a classified French historic monument. Originally built by Nicolas Dupont and one of his largest and most spectacular. One of the marvels of this cathedral worth exploring. A slow and meticulous exploring of this beautiful cathedral is required to really appreciate the magnitude and splendour of this very Baroque place of worship. Suitable for all ages and backgrounds and it's wheelchair friendly.

Enjoyed walking around and inside that historical cathedral. The work of art and architecture in the cathedral were enjoyable to look at. Enjoyed the sights also.
