Poterie de la Citadelle

This is, IMHO, THE PLACE to get traditional Catalan pottery pieces. I especially like the wine and sangria pitchers, as well as the "brique a vin" -- pottery for keeping the bottle of wine cool (add cold water or ice as needed). Sometimes also called a "cave a vin". Great selection for every day vessels, olive oil, cream, etc...

Called in here whilst on holiday & purchased some beautiful egg cups, lovely items and a great shop. If we hadn't of been flying would of purchased more!

Basic pottery but of good quality and at very fair prices. When I walked into the shop I knew I was in the right place to find everything I had been looking for for a while: blue pottery. There were lots of things in shades of blue without a trace of brown as often. Frankly it is worth the detour and I will stay there again if I visit the area again.

Artisan potter offering very beautiful pottery for outside as inside. We had the chance to see him and talk to him. He is passionate. He makes before you vases bowls cups ... Quality is at the rendezvous. Personally I bought to cook meat and vegetables with the dishes. Nothing to say. The cooking result is excellent.

This site of handcrafted ceramics is striking everywhere, very colorful and original, perhaps a little expensive for the budget of the Spanish tourist.
