AXAM

Last week we took an ipad to Axam, Marciac for repair. The quote was €70. This increased to €88 the next day and eventually, a week later, we had to pay €93. The work was subcontracted to someone in Tasque. We were invited by Axam to collect the device ourselves from Tasque. We politely refused and demanded that we collect it from the shop in Marciac. When we got the “repaired” device back it was missing several apps including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. More importantly the 3 email accounts had disappeared and we were unable to reinstall them despite being reasonably competent technically. Therefore we had to pay another computer shop, local but not Marciac, to complete the reinstallation. Throughout this experience the proprietor of Axam was rude and incompetent demonstrating woeful/non-existant levels of customer service. Avoid like the plague.
