Mairie de Valenciennes

Nice building with remarkable architecture.

Good reception, well directed, clear marking linked to the covid and very little waiting.

Located on the Place d'Armes, this town hall is a large stone building on three levels. The facade is in stone and ends at the top of a clock, with a plaque "Valenciennes à bien des la patrie", from the date of construction 1868 and is surmounted by a statue of Marianne. Bombed during World War II, the rest of the building was rebuilt. This town hall has a large hourly amplitude. Identity papers can be made there very quickly.

Undeniable lack of professionalism on the part of the service dealing with identity documents, (refusing proof of address, an invoice from a second home obviously received at my home address) following requests for acknowledgments of receipt no response, 4 times the same email was sent following the same request to finally say thank you it is the right document this time while the same email with the same document was transmitted the file was complete from the appointment and with 3 months of in advance I find myself late for my identity documents. Not recommended.
