I'm starting my third and final year here. These last three years are the longest of my life. An unpleasant staff possible. No answer when we say hello, a smile? It's not even possible. Supervisors not able to make your absences by "lazy", on the other hand to belittle that goes. High school of excellence so claimed, I do not see how. here, we push you to depression. Students tired, who can not stand anymore, depressed. People who think they are supermen and who forces you to stay up to the end by getting involved with what does not concern them. In short, me and 90% of my acquaintances here have never been so depressed since they set foot here.

Hello, having spent 4 years in the high school that I was sold before I came as one of the best high schools in Valenciennes my experience allows me to confirm the contrary. The teachers met are great but no project to interest the students and invest them in the life of the school, no trip, no outing proposed. No good humor, no smile and joie de vivre in this high school with the supervisors. Lack of politeness among the main education counselors, who take the students up and down without stopping. A huge problem of harassment within this high school very poorly taken care of and very poorly supervised.

A high school that is losing its notoriety. Pity. The teachers are good but a bad atmosphere reigns there making the teacher / student relationship difficult.

After my three years in this high school, we are far from "excellence" so much put forward by Valenciennes. At the level of the professors, it is 50/50, in particular at the level of the professors of the scientific subjects (except SVT) who share only their bad mood for the majority, or the professor taking care of the mathematical specialty which commits mistakes at the level of the formulas of the course, the pupils being obliged to correct it. At the Maison des Lycéens, pay for a billiard mat with holes, broken tails, and for computer equipment dating from the Middle Ages, it is a shame, knowing that Wi-Fi is supposed to be available free of charge to members (should we still know the password). Outings, same thing, in three years, we get back outings of the same style as in college: The farm. (2 times), the output of Terminale in the Ardennes was the only appreciable. You want outings? Option Plastic arts and Japanese compulsory. The canteen: Meals correct, place of restoration correct. Computer Hardware: Fair, though only for certain rooms. Do not wait for computers older than 1980 for those who will take the ICN option (unless the occupied room has changed since time), teachers giving ICN courses do a few days training option to take if you already have some computer skills though. Administrative side and supervisors: This is a positive point. The WATTEAU High School of Valenciennes is NOT a bad high school, it is a normal high school, but certainly not excellence.
