"Au Moulin" à Lardiers

A lovely place to stay . We are real customers , we come back each year. The owners are great folks. the garden offers fresh vegetables .. and you feel in the middle off the lavendel-fields... . This is living as God in France. Koenraad et Els Thanks Alex et Marlène for your hospitality each year again. :-) :-) :-)

Here you can still make holidays without stress. Pure peace and relaxation .... just switch off and let your mind wander. We have felt very comfortable here.

Big rant. Arrived at the lodging during a big deluge, I ask for a room. The owner tells me it's not open. But let her keep 1 or 2 bedrooms occasionally. I ask her if I can have it to dry myself off and then sleep at night, she tells me no. No pity. So I ask her if she doesn't have a shelter or a garage to shelter me, she tells me no. Knowing that there are vehicles outside, I tell myself that she couldn't care less about me. I who thought that there were still charitable souls in this country, I was wrong. During this time I am in a flood with 3 cm of water in my shoes and have to find shelter elsewhere. It's scandalous. It is the last straw not to offer hospitality to someone for what is called a "Gîte de France". I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
