I don't think I have ever been treated so disrespectfully by people in my whole life. the bouncers on the door were very rude to us. We all understood that it was an over 25 club but when we were sent away, we watched girls lining up without proof of age and were just allowed to walk in. These girls looked much younger than we all were however were still allowed in... really quite odd. So when we went back to ask why the bouncer just shut the gate on us and told us to go away. I asked him if it was because we were English and he didn't even deny it. Not only were they rude, they were also discriminatory. The worst part is that we are all here, in this beautiful place to study and learn about a different culture and improve on the language and we were just treated like dirt. After this and just to clarify, I asked a waiter who worked down the street if it was an over 25 club and they said yes but they usually just let anyone in... I would really like someone to explain that! We also found out that some of our Spanish friends that are the same age as us (21-23) were let in straight away? I guess they just don't like the English...
