Came across this bookstore by chance. Wanted to buy a gift but didn't know any authors, just the kind of books the friend liked. The owner found EXACTLY what I needed and was lovely and didn't make me feel like an idiot for not having all.the information to hand (unlike many other bookshops in.Paris). Will become my local.
Such kindness and gentleness, like reading a book in a field on a summer's day or on a beach. An exquisite choice and selection.

Great neighborhood bookstore 🏘 I've always ordered my books here, because it's the same price as the big names and you have to keep supporting the small traders. The reception is always friendly (very human), the selection of books from old series including the Harlequin series is great (for a few euros). I have seen comments detailing the lack of hospitality from the staff. Precisely because it's not a slot machine, with vendors going to jump on you with a smile + hypocritical hello that it is. It's a neighborhood bookstore that you walk into and “make your life”. You are not coped, observed etc.
