Hôtel Campanile Villejuif

Due to a nearby event we chose this hotel. According to the low price we did not expect a lot. However, we did not feel well in this hotel at all. It was dirty, cold and uncomfortable. The staff was still kind. Actually, we did not complain but decided Never to get back to any hotel Campanile ever.

Rooms: Old decor and facilities, dirty, poorly lit, small, bad layout. Restaurant: Overpriced, tasteless food. We ordered a burger than was clearly microwaved/heated from frozen, as it was still frozen in the middle. Staff: By far the rudest staff ever - If you have the displeasure of meeting 'Raquel', and she sees you eating food external from the hotel, she'll threaten to block your room and kick you out on the street. We bought our own food because the hotels was terrible, and we were not eating in the room because it was dark and dirty. AVOID THIS HOTEL. YOU WILL NOT ENJOY YOUR STAY.

We aren’t impressed by the facilities offering at the place. Nothing fresh and housekeeping lacking a standard for basic requirements. We asked for clean towels never replaced and tea coffee never Topup when staying 3 nights ... it’s a nightmare ONLY GOOD..the reception staff trying to help out the insufficient service by the hotel.

The staff needs to learn basic english. I asked the overseas call to be transfered to the room, her response was, it is not possible and she had a lot work to do. Zero customer service, zero courtesy, AVOID!!

I am here at the moment 25 May 2019. And their claim in their website that all rooms got airconditioning is false. It is warm in our rooms and I went to the reception to request them to turn on th airconditioning and the lady said all rooms has no airconditioning and told me to open the windows instead. This is the Hotel Restaurant Campanile Villejuif.
