The car was great, the customer service wasn’t. Advice - avoid renting through a third party (e.g. airline) as this is too much for the staff to handle. In my case I received misleading information at the counter as to the level of insurance cover I pre-purchased and ended up paying twice for the same service. When I realised that and reached out to customer service, I was schooled it is all my fault and never heard any apology for a bad experience.

Very warm welcome, impeccable vehicle, no surprises in billing, the only downside is the billing of fuel if you forget to refuel, it's downright theft, not content to charge you 13 € to go. the full, which I would have found normal, the price of the liter is at 2.80 € and that is really abusive, in my logic it should be either one or the other not both, but hey I don't I just had to think about it and especially I should have inquired before the pricing for this operation, I do not take anything off the bill for this reason. If I need a vehicle again I will definitely come back to Sixt and refuel before returning the vehicle.
