Very interesting place set up to try to help to continue the survival of many ancient breeds of birds, mainly chickens. Its been there for about 30 years due to the passion of one man.
The tour around the maze of different enclosures will reveal an extraordinary range of birds with notice boards attached to each one with information about each breed.
Birds can be bought.
Very helpful staff who went out of their way to help us with choice of birds best suited to our needs.
Ideal shaded place for the little ones directly in contact with the free range hens. The owner of the place is very nice and gives a lot of explanations and anegdotes. Many different breeds of hens are endangered so this location is necessary for the conservation of the species.
Superb conservatory, easy to visit with the family, just follow the course, and discover.

We had the chance to pass by during a low traffic which allowed us to discuss with the owner of the place.
We discovered a quiet, shaded and very interesting place! With animals that are well there.
Special mention to this enthusiast who fights to preserve all species and who always tries to see the positive side of things! Don't hesitate to chat with him he has some strong, interesting stories and anecdotes.
We will come back next year hoping to see Bourbourg hens!
