Hôtel Carlton Lille

Overall great stay. Little miscommunication the day of arrival concerning an anticipated check in. The following day, following our troubles we were gifted a lovely bottle of white wine. Great rooms and services. Attention to guests is near perfect. Will stay again.

I stayed in this hotel for a long weekend in Lille for a special occasion. This did not meet my expectations at all and I would not recommend it to anyone. Upon checking-in, the staff failed to give appropriate welcome information on facilities in the hotel as well as the city and transport information. Overall the staff was unfriendly. The daily room cleaning did not happened at all and requests for complementary room items such as tea and coffee was not taken into consideration multiple times. Honestly, there are a few other hotels in Lille where I would recommend visitors to stay.

I booked to stay here one night As a travel writer, I have stayed at many of the Carltons worldwide I was not very impressed with my initial impression Check in was 16.00, which is pretty late for check in anyway I was not given a room until around 17.45 No apology from reception Not even a complimentary drink of water or coffee offered whilst I had to hang around reception waiting Businesses nearby were closed & restaurants weren't open until at least 7pm so I had no option but to wait there Reception area gives the image of luxury Rest of the decor near lifts should be thrown away as it looks dirty Room was a good size ..Not Wow Bathroom was clean ..Not Wow Nice to have separate W.C Didn't bother with breakfast as needed to leave at 7.30am Location is excellent

Friendly staff and clean hotel room. However, booking a room with airconditioning during a heat wave only to find out that the airco is not working in the room was very disappointing to say the least. Location is superb.

I had a terrible experience at the hotel. My cash was missing when I came back to my room in the evening after a day of sightseeing. The hotel management didn’t cooperate at all. Not even the directory. Pathetic response. Did not expect this from such a hotel. Avoid the hotel if possible. Didn’t have a pleasant stay. PS - the breakfast is not even worth the money you pay, lack of variety.
