Very nice museum, extremely well put together on the wars in northern Alsace of 1870, 1914 and 1939. The visitor is literally imbued with the atmosphere of the museum, not only by the very realistic scenes but also by the smells and sound effects throughout the visit. This museum contains many locally found objects and even unique period videos from the area. A must-see for history fans, Alsace lovers or people who want to know more about this dark period in our local history.

The 2mcladn is a recently opened museum which deals with the history of Northern Alsace since 1870 and more particularly on the period of the Second World War. The collection is impressive: it is made up of more than 3,500 objects - all from the period - and continues to grow. Despite its young age, the 2mcladn can be considered one of the best museums in the area in Alsace. The visit begins with a room where you can find objects relating to the War of 1870 and the Great War. Then, we access a series of small rooms with dioramas (always with period objects - except the mannequins) with sound immersion.

The first sensory memorial museum allowing you to step back in time with very realistic scenes! All surrounded by a team of very nice enthusiasts. It is about 15 minutes from Hunspach, (elected in 2020) a very warm village where you can walk with your family and learn thanks to this fabulous museum; Do not miss !
