Museum of the Resistance and Deportation of Ain

Very nice museum on the local resistance during WW2. Visit texts are available in french, english and braille. Videos also have sign language. There are lots of chairs for anyone wishing to sit during the visit. A lift is also there for people having difficulties with steps. The price range is very inexpensive.

Interresting and mémorial

An excellent museum worthy of the best. A wealth of objects, history and quite incredible explanations. We spent the whole afternoon there (from opening to closing) and it was much needed. The poster exhibition was also very interesting. A museum to visit absolutely. In addition, it is accessible to everyone.

Well done to the Museum of the Resistance and Deportation of the Ain in Nantua, which we found by ourselves and which in addition to the museum well done and interesting and accessible in wheelchairs and has translations in Braille for some documents and in sign language for videos! At the Ain tourist offices, places like this one and those less accessible must be highlighted to improve your brochures and take people with disabilities into account!
