Camp Romain

Great views in all directions! Roman Camp??😞

The hike was easy and with many interesting view points. If you start from Près du Lac as opposed to Le Rouret you get to walk along the hills crests and get the sea and coast view and the back country side. However and to my disappointment , as an archeology frick, the Roman ruins are not very well defined nor documented. Too bad because it has tons of potential as a Roman Site with very obvious structures worth investigating!

Very pleasant family walk, shaded most of the time. By cons, as already said ... Do not expect to see more than one or two small walls and the remains of an indefinite construction.
