The composition was very beautiful but the person is sorely lacking in empathy. Unfortunately, you don't only contact a florist for good news. And the remark to tell the person "we couldn't deliver you weren't at home, and you weren't answering the phone ..." is just inappropriate when they return from their child's funeral ...
