ibis Versailles Château

Rooms are bit small, bathroom is tiny. Great location, friendly staff. No hot meals prepared in the hotel but tonnes of restaurants within walking distance.

The location is great in the main Street leading to the Chateau de Versailles, and with many restaurants nearby (10-15min walk). The hotel is okay with clean rooms and a fair breakfast (limited choice though). People working there are nice and of good service. There is free parking nearby the hotel too. Only caveat is that rooms are small (still fitting a doubled bed) and bathroom is tiny. Food choice in the evening is very limited. Now it is an hotel to go on business trip with colleagues as you can enjoy a nice night out with a good choice of restaurants and bars ar a reasonable walking distance.

This is a decent hotel only a few minutes walk from the famous Chateau of Versailles! PROS: The staff is very courteous and speaks great English (and French, of course). The checkin was quick and the hotel has great Wifi coverage. Their bar/food service is open 24 hours and their breakfast buffet for about €11 is pretty good with several types of breads and other breakfast foods. Housekeeping and upkeep of rooms is also very good. Rooms have heat and A/C and the shower has terrific warm water! All in all, a pretty decent stay in Europe. CONS: the room I had was quite small ... barely 100 sq ft I’d guess. The room was made for 2 people at the most with just 1 full bed. The bathroom is also very very tiny. Housekeeping can be tidy but erratic - gave one less towel one day, one extra towel another, and no shower mat on the third. The hotel provides two bath towels but no hand towels, as a policy. These little annoyances are what kept me from giving this place a solid 5.

Really bad and unpolite service. The manager on Thu 23.7.2020 behaved very badly and told the customer that he is himself unpolite. She has no knowledge about good customer care, customer service and not cares about Accord Hotel image. This is the last time we chose Ibis or Accor Hotel due to this arrogant lady. Im shamed that so bad customer service can exist still in 2020 in Europe.
