This place is great. Huge selection of both English and French - latest release and classic DVDs. They open quite late have a competitive pricing structure, not as good as Red Box but then this is France and I am prepared to pay for quirky late night service. We walked in after ten at night, the owner was clearly smoking, which did not bother me, and in any case they keep the door open when it is warm. I got a membership in my broken French and proceeded to hire three DVDs for 8€. All brand new. Note : since the movie industry is still in the stone ages if you own a DVD or Blue Ray player from the US you will either need to "change" the region to play the European DVDs or buy a local one.

30 minutes to zap on the sofa and we still haven't found anything ... 30 seconds in the store and we say to ourselves that we will not have enough in a lifetime to look at everything !! Great choice and great advice!
