Like all Synagogues, this place has a lot of security and no visitors are allowed as such. If you're keen to attend, look to come and sit in a service.

What a beautiful Shul, one of the biggest in Europe. Ask for Victor when visiting, he's amazing and knows history of Shul well. Attend Kidush lunch, everyone is great!

The Grand Synagogue of Paris, generally known as Synagogue de la Victoire or Grande Synagogue de la Victoire, is situated at 44, Rue de la Victoire, in the 9th arrondissement. It also serves as the official seat of the chief rabbi of Paris. It can seat over 1,800 people, and since its inception, services have been conducted according to the Ashkenazi-Alsacian tradition. The biggest and most beautiful synagogue in Paris and maybe in the whole world. Just incredibly decorated and bright. It's a must see in Paris Jewish life. I went there expecting a nice old synagogue, what I saw was just breathtaking! The architecture is beautiful. The wall honoring the Jews of Paris who died fighting for their country in WWI was very moving. I went back to services Friday night. There were Parisians and many from all over the world. Everyone especially the Rabbi, and the caretaker were extremely welcoming and kind. Worth a visit!

Nice building from the outside. Unfortunately tourists are unable to visit the interior.
