Do not miss this small village and, if you can, choose the days of processions The campanile of the church, with 4 floors, of baroque style, erected from 1870 to 1875, recalls by a plaque, the massacre of German mercenaries in 1732. In front of it the Sainte-Restitude Chapel: built in the 11th and 12th centuries on an ancient Roman necropolis. The medieval chevet was extended in the 18th century by an octagonal dome with a drum on a pendant. It is dedicated to Saint Restitude, martyred in Calvi in ​​the 3rd century, and venerated each year on the occasion of two processions: Easter Monday and the Sunday following May 21. Sainte Restitude was proclaimed patron saint of Calenzana and Balagne by Pope John Paul II; Next to it, "A Casazza", chapel of the Holy Cross brotherhood, with, inside, the objects necessary for the processions, including, on the ground the heavy wooden cross and on the wall the cross bearing the crucifiction tools.
