Château Lagrezette - Boutique de Cahors Pont Valentré

Be careful Tourist pricing! Disgraceful 😠 you can buy their wines are at other stores for cheaper. You would think they would offer market prices on their OWN wines. Better spend your money where they are not trying to take you for a fool. There are many honest and better places to buy wine on Cahors. If I am honest this angered me enough that I will avoid their wines all together.

Contrary to what I have read, correct prices on site, at least for Château Lagrézette which is the flagship cuvée (€ 29 for 2015, € 33 for 2011, roughly what we find on the internet except private sale - seen on 2015 at € 22.9 on BazarChic in 08/2020). On the other hand, the welcome was not very gracious and a little condescending. The children seem to annoy. We are not here to make you discover the products but to sell, if possible quickly and expensive ... Tasting requested before purchase, not offered spontaneously (we felt a reluctance to our request). Fortunately, the young saleswoman was nicer than her elder who was not of any advice.

Home which leaves something to be desired, tasting possible supposedly but it is limited if it is necessary to make lighthouse calls, higher prices when it is supposed to be direct sale ...

Scandal! The same bottle bought 27 € at the so-called producer is sold 19,80 € in the center of Cahors in a storefront store! (Chateau Lagrezette 2006). Think before you buy in this shop!
