Remarkable Church shares its history. Relaxing and intriguing place with the remains of the old church in front of the new church. Negative point the parking is very small even too small!

Of the five abbey churches built, it is the 4th and only survivor. The first, Carolingian, was destroyed by the Vikings. The second, Romanesque construction, experienced the passage of pilgrims on the way to Compostela. The third will be launched in the 13th century. We are building a prestigious Gothic building which will be destroyed during the wars of religion. In 1608, the 4th church was built, the one that is there today on the site of the Gothic building of which some elements remain. The fifth church will never be completed. In the 18th, we start to build a building next to the current church whose construction will be stopped by the revolution. There remain the 2 imposing towers located to the west of the current church.

Alluding to the size the building would be if it had not been destroyed, despite this it is a beautiful church 💒

Beautiful architecture I live in the area for a moment the monument of this city should be put forward because for young people is a bit "dead"

5 stars because this church has seen all my youth until my marriage and the baptisms of my daughters. It is to see anyway because built on the remains of an unfinished abbey which he is a buttress bow and especially the two iconic towers of St Jean D'angely
