I am an American who studied in Montpellier on a study abroad for a year. It was a total mistake to open an account with BP. I speak french and opened a student account. There were SO MANY FEES every 3 months. Fees that I specifically asked about when I opened the account. 8 euros here, 4 euros just for using their "online banking" every quarter. It's ridiculous. Avoid!

Almost 10 days for us to reply to your email saying "I cannot open your attachments". I spent six months without a real counselor because mine had gone on maternity leave, I had to travel on purpose to talk to someone and be told ... Honestly, I have nothing against BP , I was in a very responsive agency in Nîmes and I was super happy ... But run away from the comedy agency. I needed a mortgage quickly, I had to go to Crédit Agricole where they were more interesting and above all more responsive. It's too bad...

Having left Crédit Agricole to join Banque Populaire du Sud, this bank is quite simply reactive. All advisers are available even during your advisor's vacation, they will continue to follow your files with attention. I spoke to several advisers who were unfamiliar with my files but handled my requests perfectly quickly. A lot of people complain about the banking system, but when it is run by human, intelligent and witty people it immediately becomes very enjoyable. Special mention to Ms. Fabre who is simply brilliant as well as to two of her particularly responsive colleagues, Ms. Cruz and Mr. Marques.
