When faced with a person in danger, having the right reflexes can sometimes save a life. A fire, an explosion, a gas leak, an injured person, an accident… You must act but you do not know how. Here are some tips to prevent accidents and better anticipate emergencies. In which cases to call? Fire, explosion, gas leak, accident (road, plane, derailment…), injured or sick in a public place, drowning, asphyxiation, collapse, flood… and in all cases where a life is in danger. Keep your cool A calm, clear and complete announcement guarantees rapid rescue What information to give? The nature of the incident (fire, accident, etc.), the exact address (town, street, etc.), without forgetting the floor or the direction of traffic (on a road for example), the number and condition of the victims, possible particular dangers ... Never hang up first! Give your phone number and if possible, stay on site, in safety, to guide the emergency services.
