The MPSI classes have great potential and I think these classes will train the future elites of the nation. A very good general atmosphere especially at the boarding school, unfortunately it is forbidden to hang a Santa Claus on the boarding school windows or to adopt a goldfish. I still have a very good general opinion, especially thanks to the friendliness of a good raclette between depressed friends.

super high school for people who have 200 IQ

It seems that this is the best high school in the region. I wonder because it seems to me that this is only a reputation. Students are in a less disadvantaged economic situation than elsewhere, that's all, but teachers are there waiting for retirement, especially in the preparatory literary classes. The administration is not terrible and many agents have forgotten that they were serving the public.

Public high school that has had its moment of glory in the past but has lost its beauty with the massification of secondary education. On the other hand, the Lycée Joffre is more like a university campus than a classical high school (so-called family) and this can represent a real difficulty for students coming from colleges in particular. On the other hand, this kind of large school (nearly 4,000 students!) Requires students to adapt rapidly and to have a great deal of autonomy (especially in the workplace), which can confuse many pupils in difficulty or in need of help. a more personalized frame. An excellent establishment for an excellent student and especially showing great autonomy .... The teachers are good or excellent for some of them but not all, far from it! Thus, the (current) judgment on a previously famous high school is to be relativised and reconsidered.

Probably the best high school in Montpellier. The architecture and the history of the buildings would make it almost a monument, that being said my criticism is based above all on the teaching received in general high school. Teachers are generally good, although affinities with them may vary. I keep a good memory of my ES terminal, and what more pleasant than leaving the school by being directly in the center of Montpellier. Only downside, the population enough bobo. A lot of arrogance and malice but I guess it's related to the urban environment and the slightly elitist aspect of high school
