Old school stadium. The kind of place I loved going to when I was young and single. Stands tacked together somehow giving everyone a good view. But, the reality was I was there with my wife and kids. My 7 and 3 year old struggled with going up and down stairs for toilets and food. Women's toilet queues were there throughout the game. Mainly down to there being one women's toilet cubicle for an entire stand. This was during a Women's World Cup Game, I might add. Ended up standing guard at the men's toilet while my wife snuck in.

Nice stadium in Montpelier... We were there to see Italy winning over China for the women world cup last 16. There were 17500 spectators during the match. The stadium can get very hot during summer. We were well placed in the center of the pitch and it was agreeable to watch the game from our location.

Excellent view of women's world cup game between Australia and Brazil. Good crowd. All very friendly.

Went to watch two women's world cup games. Nice stadium with very helpful staff! But I would suggest to take their public transportation because to get there and parking is a nightmare and very disorganized.

We were staying nearby on a family vacation and, as ever, never like to miss an opportunity to take in a local football match. 24th Sep-15 and Montpellier were at home to Monaco and got turned-over 2-3 in a pretty average game. Stade de la Mosson is Montpellier's home and has a capacity of 32,900. Formerly a 16,000-seater stadium, it was entirely rebuilt in 1998 to host 6 games of the 1998 FIFA World Cup. Our tickets were located in the stand that is called the Tribune d'honneur Gévaudan which has 4,343 places and is completely open to the elements. On the night we were there it was a pretty balmy evening but I suspect that when it rains, it must be a bit soggy. Don't know how they measured their 'seating-to-comfortable-knee-space ratio' when they did their rebuild in '98, but they must have thought they were going to be getting some 'petite' supporters along. There isn't enough room to swing the proverbial 'chat'! Fortunately we were on the end of a row but for folks trying to squeeze in and out to get to/from their seats or to the facilities, it was a bit of a struggle. Sacre bleu!
