I just love this store and I am shopping in Monoprix since ...I guess...1975. A big A++++++ to ''my'' casher in the Monoprix / Polygone / Montpellier. Robin, you deserve a raise!

Monoprix is definitely not the cheapest shop in the city center of Montpellier. Prices are quite high, but the quality is fine and I appreciate the fact that they deliver at home, it's very useful! They have their own brand and regular products as well.

Great closing hours.

Bigger than the Place de la Comédie store and less racist than the Spar convenience stores, some of which harass black and Arab shoppers. Terrific selection of prepared foods, wine, international ingredients, smoked fish, juices, charcuterie and cheese (though the truffle cheese even more expensive than at Halles Castellane!) and household goods. Perfect when you don't have time to go the butcher, the farmers market, the cheese shop, the boulangerie, the fish store...

I am visiting from Canada and was enjoying my stay here until today. I have shopped in the store many times on my two vacations in Montpellier and have spent quite a bit of money there. Today while shopping I accidentally bumped into a bottle of wine with my cart which fell and broke. The manager came over and I think he was saying (I do not speak French) that I should pay for it. My reaction was that I did not think that was fair as the bottle must have been sticking out into the aisle or I would not have hit as I went by. I was pulling the cart behind me so I did not see it sticking out. He then asked me to leave the store. I am 77 years old and I have never been asked to leave anywhere in my life. I was going to visit Montpellier again but now I am not. Tourism seems to be an important part of this cities economy and treating tourists in this disrespectful way is not a god idea. I had pleasant memories of Montpellier but all I will remember now is this unhappy event.
