I visited the Lapugnoy Military Cemetery with my brother on November 11, 2019, to visit our Grandfathers grave. Leslie Arthur Jefford was killed in May 1917, at the time of the Battle of Arras, which took place one month after the Canadian assault on Vimy Ridge. He left a Wife and Son, my Grandmother, and my Father.

Beautiful, peaceful cemetery, hidden away in a quiet valley behind the village of Lapugnoy. Probably no real reason to visit unless you were looking for a specific grave, as there isn't a whole lot else around. Definitely worth it though. Lots of Royal Flying Corps graves.
