Église Saint Antoine de Padoue

Pretty little village church which is part of the Parish of Saint Roch en Durolle, of the Diocese of Clermont Ferrand. Fairly recent church, whose work ended in 1892. Large steeple all in height which dominates the whole of the building. Church dedicated to the cult of Saint Anthony of Padua, which we find represented on a beautifully crafted stained glass window. The set is quite simple and rustic. A few colored stained-glass windows bring a little light into the choir. Note: a pretty Madonna and Child near the wooden High Altar. Altar which was carved by Father Chassagnol, a craftsman from Grandif. Nice spiral staircase at the back of the church. The simplicity of the place, as well as its refined style, naturally calls for meditation and prayer.
