Church of Saint-Just, Lyon

The greatest pity was not being able to visit inside as it was closed for New Year's Day when I visited! But I have read up its history before visiting and I agree with most visitors who reviewed this Church. There's no opening hours! However, it's a stunning Neoclassical façades that really grabs me on approach. There are two statues on the ends of the façade of Saint Justus and Saint Irenaeus by Jean-François Legendre-Héral. It was also known as Saint Just of the Maccabees church when it was destroyed during the war of religions. It's dedicated to Saint Just, the 13th archbishop of Lyon.

Have been there twice - both times it was closed. It would be great if someone could add hours to google maps.

Visited just from the outside. At first I thought it was just an abandoned church, then I read about the Saint-Just Church I was disappointed about how such a nice architecture is not maintained at all, and it is in one of the most important part of the city (Fourvière).
