François de Montcorbier dit Villon, born in 1431 and died after 1463, is a French poet of the late Middle Ages. Schoolboy of the University, master of the Faculty of Arts from 21 years, it leads first of all the joyful life of an undisciplined student of the Latin Quarter. At 24, he kills a priest in a fight and flees Paris. Legend has it that he lived around this tram stop.
