MAJ: RT-event has contacted us to offer a refund of the rental for the second smoke machine, as expected. The exchanges were then fast and efficient. So we raise the score to 3. -------------------------------------------------- -------------- Our experience with them: Our association used their emergency rental service for two smoke machines for an important service the same evening in the courtyard of the Palais des Papes. Already when we went to get the equipment they asked directly the payment in addition to the deposit check (in 10 years of experience, the first time I have to pay before the return of the material). In the evening, when you have connected the machines only one works and the other displays an error code. We immediately called the provider Mr. Sebastien SCOLARI (it was 17h) to tell him. He explains that we have to wait 15 minutes for the weather to heat up. We suspected that the problem did not come from there since it was already a moment that we tried to make it work looking for solutions on the internet, but we listen and wait 30 minutes more. Always nothing. We try to remind the provider, who strangely no longer responds, several tries but NOTHING the provider totally ignores us while he knows that the exploitation takes place at this very moment ... So we did our event with half defective equipment. The next day, when I returned to return the equipment, I explained the concern we had and said that I wanted to see Sebastien SCOLARI. Unfortunately he is not there ... I therefore ask that the payment check is not cashed until I have spoken with Mr. SCOLARI, otherwise the check will be put in opposition. A few hours later, Mr. SCOLARI calls me on my phone and begins to call me a liar since at home the machine works. I take offense and explains that it does not matter if it works now since last night when renting it did not work, which is also proven by the level of the liquid that has not moved! After long minutes of HALLUCINANT exchanges, we reach an agreement that only the first machine will be charged. They must send us a new invoice for payment. No more news the following days and the check ends up being cashed !! After several reminders by Mr. SCOLARI the reimbursement has not yet taken place. This behavior is scandalous, especially since it is a paltry sum (120 € rental in all), it is above all a question of principle, honesty and kindness to its customers. I do not dare to imagine what can happen with rentals of several thousand euros ... After talking about it, it seems that RT Event already has a reputation in the region of Avignon for their poor relationship client, because this is not the first time that this has happened ...
