DARTY Rambouillet

As a non french speaker, I needed help purchasing and arranging delivery for various goods. Julien in the Rambouillet Darty store provided excellent customer service and support. Merci!

If you are not elderly or not wearing a fur coat you will be totally ignored by the staff, apparently it is the store's policy, they judge potential buyers by their appearance so don't come over dressed if you want to be advised! Several clients have made the same observation as me! I would add that I came several times and that on my last visit an available salesperson totally ignored me to go to people who had just arrived they did not need help, I went to him and he left the department !! A customer witnessed it and the same for the bedding department, not even a hello !! There were no clients ... It's your policy that's all!

I came the week of July 20 to buy appliances and take advantage of the sales. I was able to collect all my appliances on August 1st except for one item that arrives on August 18th. Except that I did not receive the agreed SMS to confirm receipt of my appliance in the store. I therefore decide to call the store to find out if it has been received. And then I am told that it is no longer available and that if I want a dryer of the same quality I must pay € 200 more. No longer the sales, he can not do anything except offer me a gift card of 50 € to pay of course in their store. Which amounts to paying € 200 anyway. No suitable solution was offered to us. The purpose of the sales being to take advantage of articles with good discounts, I do not have to be dependent on their stock error at the depot. Especially 1 month after ordering. The famous contract of trust of Darty and the quality of the managers of the store leaves more desired case in order to retain customers.

This Saturday at the end of the morning, I was able to appreciate the quality of the reception of the staff. There were not many people around noon, but all the employees that I met gave "hello". Ditto at checkout. We don't see that everywhere. I found what I was looking for and will come back to it.
