After booking a reservation online (Kayak) I presented my self to this branch with my bags to go on a long, well-deserved weekend with my family. Everything went well until the person in front of me found my reservation « too low » and called the manager on the phone. The manager mentioned that it was an offer reserved to people with American Passports and Driver licence. I said « ok show me those conditions in the offer or the contract » because if it’s true, it’s illegal (it’s called discrimination), and if it’s untrue, you’re simply lying to your customer. They refused to show me these conditions and failed to offer me any solutions for me to go. They simply decided to not rent to me. It was close to 7pm so everyone had to leave on weekend and I ended up on the sidewalk, with my bags and no car. Worst rental experience ever and wooorst manager (Cyril) ever encountered. Writing this from home, on Saturday because I couldn’t go on Weekend. Bye Hertz :) long live to Turo and GetAround :)
