Mairie de Bourron-Marlotte

This Mairie was a much better place before under the past mairesse and the mentality in this village at present leaves an awful lot to be desired....The present set up is extremely harmful to the village and the people. I had lunch in the Martingo whilst working on my restaurant and travel reviews and listened quietly to several blase and arrogant local people making jokes about how much fun they were having trying to ruin one womans life... These were all people with evident wealth and easy lives and on the other side the person concerned had to recover from several traumatic experiences in her life and bring up two children in a foreign country alone..no easy task. Having stayed in her little cottage on several occasions myself, where I was treated like a star each time with amazing hospitality and warmth, I wish to comment that what you are all doing on her property is totally revolting and I back her 100% online and in court if necessary. She works extremely hard while her neighbours are busy trying to destruct her life..personally and professionally..and as far as Ive understood..with your backing in the mairie???? What the hell?

The staff are welcoming, friendly and very efficient. The town hall museum is surprising and rich for such a small town (don't expect a fabulous museum either). A real surprise!

A star for the paintings of the "mairie-musée" ... That's all. Ineffective town hall, no reactivity, communication with the school almost nonexistent. Make the canteen pay a day of strike ... never seen that anywhere! Cruel lack of modernity despite a "portal" internet worthy of the 80s. In short, especially do not change anything it would be too much effort, and do not listen to your fellow citizens. Strongly the municipal elections ...

We rented the village hall for our wedding on June 1st, 2019. We wish to point out the professionalism, responsiveness and friendliness of the staff (office and guardian). The room at very affordable price, is clean and very functional. She would just need a little refresh. . We thank you again. Marc and Marine
