DARTY Boulogne

Large store with nice display of products. Good place to shop for mobiles, home appliances, televisions, vacuum cleaners, music systems etc. Some staff members speak English- some willingly and some not so willingly.,🙂 Enough space to maintain distance while shopping.

I went there to buy a Chrome cast and the very pushy salesperson started trying to change my contract with my electricity and gas supplier! He kept telling me it was to save me money, etc etc. I said multiple times I wasn't interested and that I always prefer to read fine print and take my time with choosing contracts, and was told " of course, no problem, ill just print you the information, you're going to receive a text with a code to confirm" - but the text stipulated that it was, in fact, confirmation for a change of contract! I've never felt so annoyed or had someone try to force and trick me into something like this in a store - I mean, I just wanted to buy a Chromecast, something that should take 5 mins - and I wasn't at all interested in changing provider for electricity and gas. I didn't ask for it and had to say multiple times I wasn't interested. It was a waste of time and I left feeling very annoyed. They didn't have the Chrome cast in stock even, so I have to go back and pick it up now. What happened to Darty? It used to be a great store. Be careful with forceful sales tactics.
