Café Auguste

Good quality and quantities. Personnel was attentive and friendly, they deserve a 5/5. Prices where a bit high but fair for the touristic part of the city. Menu was good, the fish salad was nothing to write home about, but the poached pear and coffee where supreme. A suggestion to try is the burger, we didn't have it at our table but the one next to us did and it smelled and looked fantastic. All in all a good place to eat at without time pressures.

Service were not so kind. We set down for 3 coffee "allonge" in the morning and the place was half empty (we haven't occupied precious spots). the check was not clear (we didn't received a bill) and they ask for 6.40€.. the espresso cost 1.80€ each, the price for allonge was not indicated, still 6.40 seems strange to me

Just popped in for coffee and croissants. Lovely atmosphere

Duck breast was absolutely perfect. Steak tartare was also perfect. This was an excellent meal and also great value for money. I don't visit a restaurant twice when travelling usually. This was an exception.
