Médiathèque Cœur De Ville

The media library is a lively, relaxing and soothing place where I go often enough to discover and learn. The staff are competent and very attentive. What more can be said ?

The place is clean, quiet and well stocked with books, but the welcome leaves much to be desired. I was indeed refused entry when I wanted to collect a book (with my three-year-old daughter) on the pretext that only one person at a time is allowed to enter the media library (I was carrying a mask). There is clearly an excess of zeal on their part regarding the application of this health protocol which is now out of step with the ongoing deconfinement. It is clear that welcoming the public and returning to normal life is not their priority.

The staff are pleasant, welcoming and attentive to help you. The safety instructions are well observed.

Very good for audiotheque and dvdtheque in particular

I would have preferred to go down there to continue writing my novel, printing pictures and writing for my fanfic. But it will take a few months. Besides, I don't have a print at home.
