Stayed at Residence Eden in the 3 bedroom flat in Morillon/Les Esserts in Feb 2020 for 3 nights. This is one of the only places I could find in France/Italy that allows you to book for less than 7 days, which is great if you only want a shorter ski trip. The location of the residences is amazing, being only 100 metres from the Sairon lift with the town a mere 2mins walk away. It's almost ski in/ski out which is a bonus. Parking is available for free on the road if you can find it but offered at a premium in the underground car park. The set-up of the building is strange, it's not a hotel, not airbnb, not self service but somewhere in between. The check-in procedure is a via a tiny office by the car park and everything comes as an extra - including towels and sheets. If you are travelling by car this set up makes sense, but not so much if you're travelling from abroad. The photos are quite accurate but the rooms could do with some smartening up and with some higher quality finishes - it's very much designed for volume business. The internet was particularly slow, lack of basic things in the flat such as spare plugs sockets and working lights. Some of the sheets we picked up were also pretty dirty as if they had been stacked on the floor. We initially found this place via airbnb and then were directed to their website which charged more with more add-ons such as a cleaning. fee We agreed to match the original price and for 3 days (rather than min 4) and to drop all the extra fees but this didn't stop them trying to charge me this 2-3 times by mistake. Overall, the 3 bedroom place was ok for 3 nights, check in procedure could be improved and we probably spent more time in the flat than people would normally as we couldn't ski for 1 of the days due to poor weather. Morillon is a fun little resort with lots of good skiing, but the lifts are quite long+slow and no many options if they don't work due to wind/weather. Morillon is connected to Flaine but only if the Vernant lift is open which is wasn't for any of the days we were there meaning we were limited to the 4villages. Overall, we liked Morillon but probably wouldn't return and would head to Samoens or Les Carroz instead.

Apartment rented the week the confinement fell! We stayed for 2 days, 1500 € per week. 1600 kms covered in 2 days with 2 children aged 4 and 5. No pro-rata reimbursement, no commercial gesture. Manager owner casiment unreachable before during and after the "stay". No rental contract is the balance of any account that is valid. No entry or exit inventory. we go skiing every year, we've never seen that. Apartment not very clean and bedding to change. Insufficient utensils and crockery, such as salad bowls and saucepans. Upstairs bathroom slightly flooded when you take a shower. Maybe if the inventory was carried out correctly there would be less negative points.
