One of the staffs (the one on the second floor)was oppressive to answer the question. Don’t even look at you when he’s listening to you, and went aggressive after I asked detail of the place he was explaining. I don’t wanna use this shop never again if I need to be offended just for asking the section location.

Good Library. Overwhelmed Personnel. Gilbert J Libraries are many classified thematic (1-10) store spead out around the St Michel Fountain. A Great location for tourists.

Great place for books lovers. Have literally every book that you can looking for. If one isn't available in the shop, they can buy it directly from the publisher for you. Sales assistant speak French and English. Sometimes, they can speak more such as Italian and Spanish. Great surprise about this. You don't know what to buy ? There is a section where books are sold for only 1€. A great way to discover another books that aren't promoted and maybe found THE book that will make you travel out of your daily life.

A reasonable choice of titles dispatched thru several departments over 4 storeys: history, painting, sculpture, photography, architecture to name a few. Not always easy to find a précisé title you want since book classification on shelves inside a department/specialty is best described by the word random, if not mess. Knowledgeable attendants may help though, most of the time.
