Nice tourism places.
This Mausoleum has been the "final resting place" for the past 225+ years for France's most recognised citizens!!! To reach it, one must climb about 300 steps-- but in addition to the Mausoleum, one also has great views of all of Paris!! A tour includes the tombs as well as an explanation of various most interesting architectural features!! For history buffs this is an absolute "MUST SEE"!!

The architecture is stunning and rich with history. The crypt underground is also amazing with many famous French people buried there, graves of Marie Curie, Emile Zola, Braille...
The main attaraction is the "pendule Foucault" .. If the weather is good, I recommend going to the roof by climbing a spiral staircase.( extra fee)
As an attraction, it is not so exciting as other Paris landmarks..
