The two men helping went out of their way! They were extremely nice and helpful. Better than the other locations in city! Very welcoming and knowledgeable. Highly recommend this location!

Honestly one of the best car rental experiences I’ve had. Because of the grève all plans changed and I decided to rent a car last minute. Sixt was affordable and seemed manageable. With the metros shut down I was running late and exhausted by the time I got to Sixt. All three gentlemen who helped me were very kind and answered all my questions and didn’t make me feel like a flustered tourist with very little French speaking skills. Directions and expectations were discussed and clear. When returning the car, we called to notify we were late on return and they were incredibly kind and accommodating. Driving around City Center is a nightmare, but otherwise the car rental experience was a dream.

The car was nice to drive, service was quick, but I had to take 2 floors of stairs with all my luggages before I could use a lift. But this is not a big deal for me. I arrived Paris downtown 1 hour before my return time, then used that 1 hour to fill up the gas tank, but could not do it. I tried 2 gas stations, both about 1.5km away from the SIXT office. 1st gas station only accept card, but all my credit/debit cars from the US were rejected, which I had been using in Paris for a whole week without any problem, 2nd gas station is out of gas completely! And there was only 20 mins left to return the car. So I have to let SIXT fill up the gas for me. The price in gas station is E1.5/L, SIXT charged for E3.6/L+E12 service fee, and of course you also over count the amount of gas needed to fill up the tank at some point. I was charged E45 for 1/4 tank of gas (12L) for a small car (Opel Astra), actually L12XE1.6/L=E20 is enough at gas station, so I was over charged for E30. I rent car often, and have only seen other car rental companies to over count the amount of gas needed a little bit, but the price per L is usually not too crazy, and never seen a fee for service. But you use all 3 ways to rob my money, expensive gas per liter, over count gas liters, and service fee. Good job! Advices for customers: fill up the gas before entering Paris downtown, or plan 2 hours to fill up the gas in Paris, or pre-buy the gas from the rental company. Update: 2020-01-10 After the original review in Dec 2019, the company contacted me real quick and refunded me some of the gas $ they over charge me. Because of this good customer service, I am rating them from 3-stars to 4-stars now. Anyhow, I love Paris, France!

everything was fine but my car was not available and they wanted to give a VW passat when I booked a small suv ( x1, Peugeot , jeep ) but they did not have one. so they offered me a bmw x5 at a much higher price which due to the fact that I had 5 people and wanted some room for the 3 hr drive to Normandy I had no choice but to take. No discount offered ! Also I asked for help changing the language settings in the SUV from FRENCH to ENGLISH and the gent at the counter said the attendant at the garage would help me. He told me straight out that he knew how to do it but it was not his job. So it took me 20 min in the garage to get this changed w/o instructions. Besides that all was fine. I the US when you do not have the car you reserved they bump u up at no cost and you can get some help with the settings. not going to lie I was a little disappointed.
