Hôtel du Léman

We stayed at hotel Du leman a few days ago. Unfortunately we had an unpleasant stay. The bathroom smelled like sewerage. The comfort of the bed was really bad. Also the floor of the room was really dirty, there where white stains all over the floor. The site of the hotel says that there is a parkinglot nearby for €30 per day. However the owner of the hotel claimed that it is €48 per day. Therefore we paid more than we actually should. We did not expect this. Besides, the owner of the hotel was really rude, she said that we should be grateful. She claimed that this hotel was one of the cheapest ones in Paris, therefore we shouldn’t whine about it. Lastly we paid more for this hotel than it deserves. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

For the price we were overall pleased with our stay. The staff is very friendly and we felt comfortable and safe. Small rooms but we had a nice balcony that over looked the streets. The bed and pillows were comfortable enough. I loved that there was a bath tub in our room as that’s how I like to relax after a long day of walking. On the weekend it can get loud with the restaurants out front, but that didn’t bother us. Great location! And the breakfast was decent, a good amount of options and a fair price. I’d recommend staying here if you’re looking to stay in Paris for a good price, great location and want nice friendly staff.

Great location, small room. Soundproofing was the biggest issue and the room/bathroom is quite small. Everything was clean though, and comfortable enough for a short stay.

Little cramped and no ac, but very friendly staffers. They provided us with metro information based upon which attraction we were going to visit. We always ate out and about, so can't rate the food service. All in all, ok stay. There is an outstanding vegan restaurant right down the lane. The Opera. The owner, Ivan, was from Spain and was an outstanding host. I'd recommend the restaurant over the hotel.
