Expensive and dishonest vendors. High prices and they didn't give me back the right change (stole to me 5 euros) ! I'll never be back there again!

So it's all about luck, or bad luck. I have experienced both situations. Either you are lucky and you stumble upon LA lady and you get very professional and very pleasant service. Either you come across THE gentleman and you experience the worst of the French-style beauf trader: grumpy, passive aggressive, allowing himself to make unpleasant or even derogatory comments, in short the type who has NOT understood anything about trade and who will cry over the competition internet and supermarkets. Sir, if you can't stand customers, the word "service" means nothing to you and pretending is beyond your strength, go hide yourself in reserve and don't ruin the efforts of Madame who seems to be want your business to work. Everyone will be much better off for it.

Neighborhood hardware store. they offer a seasonal selection at the store entrance, and can order what they don't have in the store.

Dishonest, disrespectful and rude seller / owner. I just got out of this hardware store and I'm still in shock. I wanted to return a product that I bought three days ago. First, the seller did not want to take it back on the grounds that there was no evidence that the product had not been used. Faced with the evidence of a hermetically sealed product, he told me, very disrespectfully, that he would give me a credit and that it was a credit or nothing else. Given my amazement, he added that he was not obligated to anything (indeed, he is not obligated to reimburse me but to make me a credit), only the tone he used, his completely unsuitable vocabulary and even its threatening words, left me perplexed. Reading the comments of other customers, I see that I am not the only one to have had a bad experience in this hardware store. I have lived in the neighborhood for years, I want to participate in its life by bringing to life the merchants around us, but I will no longer go to this store which deserves everything except being allowed to us. I regret that the behavior of this seller (who is, moreover, the owner) stains the reputation of neighboring businesses which, moreover, are fighting against the tough competition which represents large distribution and on-line sales. The attitude of this gentleman gives reason to those who prefer to pay less, buy online and have the assurance of being reimbursed, despite a disintegrating neighborhood life. I have to mark a star to be able to post this comment but this store deserves none.

Very practical for the basic necessities of DIY or troubleshooting. Allows you to avoid having to go to the big DIY stores (and to queue up!) Or to order on the Internet, but necessarily it has a price.
