Emery & Cie - Paris

My wife and I contacted Emery & Cie recently at both the Brussels and Paris stores to obtain a box of there Zellige tiles and colour collection charts. All the staff we dealt with were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Both the box of tiles and colour charts arrived at our house in France in perfect time and the tiles & colour collections are exceptionally beautiful, very artisan. We look forward to using Emery & Cie products in our new house.

Second time visiting this shop. Left both visits with a feeling of being unwelcome..... the superior and unhelpful attitude of the service hasn't changed... :-( Never again!

The quality of the cement tiles leaves something to be desired. Two years after installation, they are in a pitiful state. Some colors have crumbled. The floor, in a private and little used bathroom, is very easily scratched. Creams and vinegar stain.

An order for tiles and zelliges was delivered several weeks late and .... the tiles were not the right color (electric blue rather than green). The mason advised by Emery installed them anyway, but they are very brittle and cracked after a few months. Made in Morocco without the slightest quality control, Emery is unable to give us consistency. In short, they are not up to European standards. The result is dangerous because it is too slippery. Because they are not dense enough, everything stains. READ THE GENERAL CONDITIONS CAREFULLY. But the colors in the store are very pretty.

Very disappointed with our soil. The cement tiles are made in Morocco without any quality control. Several different baths were used which gives a pretty ugly harlequin coat appearance (read the general conditions carefully!) The floor is not European standards or for the density (the tiles are extremely brittle) or for the standards of safety: the floor is so slippery that it is dangerous: Four years after installation, we are obliged to change our floor. half of the Zelliges order was broken.
