I stopped here to get bottles of wine as gifts for friends in the US. Gave the man my budget and told him I wanted wine from local wineries that my friends couldn't get in the states. He was more than happy to help, and wrapped both bottles in bubble wrap for the plane home. Extremely nice and helpful!

Nicolas is a fantastic wine shoppe if you are new to French wines - firstly ,the store attendants (not sure if it was Nicolas himself) were super friendly and patient. They are happy to give recommendations , tell you about the terroir and tasting notes . It was my 2nd day in Paris when I stumbled onto this gem , and the wines are super affordable! At least 15-20 wines were on discount throughout the store , ranging from €6 - €99+ per bottle. A good selection of champagne & some hard liquor , I walked out with 3 bottles of delicious red wines under €30!

ABSOLUTELY AVOID: the manager does not provide any advice, apart from reading the labels of the bottles and leaving you stranded. He was only waiting for one thing: for his friend to come into the store and have a chat with her instead of advising us. So there is no point in opening a wine cellar, to read labels, to spread generalities about wine worthy of a low-level supermarket and to let your customers tell their friends about their life! In short, do not waste your time entering this store which will not add anything to your choice.
