Amazing pizza, cold ice tea, and the most amazing staff!

We ordered pasta with ingredients of tomato and basilic and guess what it was only tomato paste with little aubergine (bringal) pieces chopped and a LEAF of basilica. This is how they cheat you. And the tomato sauce in pasta was so bad it felt literally like sauce bottles u get at provision stores. They just open the bottle and mix pasta in it and people get fooled with presentation which is good. Not at all authentic. I hated it

Truly the most authentic Italian cuisine experience you will find in Paris. Fresh produce, abundant condiments that cover the entire pizza, generous and savory cheeses, imported spicy spianata, cooking time just right, Kalamata olives on the side, homemade tiramisu... I wish I could live there

My wife and I have been travelling through Italy, Greece and now Paris for the past 7 weeks. My wife wanted pasta and being Italian she is very particular so was not sure if we should have Italian in Paris. Well we did at Il Gigolo and I have to say the Pizza I had was just as good as the ones I had all over Italy, my wife had pasta and in her words ‘it was like having a home cooked meal’. The restaurant looked amazing, with beautiful flowers everywhere and the staff were friendly, courteous and entertaining. If you are in Paris and want a good Italian meal don’t go past Il Gigolo.

Fantastic little Italian restaurant!! From the salad to the pasta with salmon and the pasta w truffle sauce - it was the best meal we had in Paris!! If anyone says otherwise they’re at a different restaurant!!
