Pastries are fine, but don't roll your eyes when taking orders as if I'm forcing you to do something extraordinary. You're simply putting bread in a bag and accepting payments. Should've gone to any other place nearby.

Perfect breakfast and brunch location. It has a dine-in option and it’s really good. I had the best brioche in Paris here.

This Paul is located in a lively street, and a nice place to have a break when walking around Saint Germain des Prés. The setting is nice. The food is the same as in all Pauls. The pâtisseries and viennoiseries are good. As for drinks, I would recommend the hot chocolate. It is not as good as it used to be (much sweeter in particular) but remains good. Unfortunately, the place suffers from 2 big issues. 1) Very poor service (as in too many Pauls). Sometimes, you have a professional and nice waiter, who shows you to your table quickly, comes back to take your order quickly too, and ensures good service all along. But don’t rejoice too much. The next time you visit you may go back to (i) you wait for ages to get a table while there are plenty of empty tables, (ii) you wait for ages again to order, although you keep raising your hand, and not because the place is very busy, which one would understand, but because the waiters are chatting together, (iii) more wait for the food to arrive, etc. 2) Hygiene. Sometimes some insects come flying around your food and drinks (while sitting inside), which is not very pleasant, and may suggest that hygiene at the place may not be the best. Hence the 3 stars. They are the maximum, for the location, the setting and the food, and despite the very poor service and the hygiene issues.

Broke down at services air bois mande we were stranded for over 6 hours and my phone was almost flat i asked staff in the cafe if she could possibly charge it for me between severine and her colleague they raced around a found and found a fix for me whuch gave me lifeline I commend them and send a big thank

Delightful place to sit down for a meal. The staff were very helpful, advising us on what each dish contained - which is great if you are or are travelling with a fussy eater. Great coffee and a marvellous selection of cakes help seal the deal.
