An excellent museum that cover the history of the medical field. It is an ideal place to be visited by scholars, students, researchers and anyone who want to widen his/her knowledge about the development of medical equipment. A nice place for familes and friends who have the interest in Medical History!

Very beautiful, historical, and informative museum. It is not large, but is worth the visit. The museum's artifacts placards are in French only, so would probably be less informative if cannot read French. That said, I do believe that just viewing the items, you can probably interpret what most are, and would be fascinating to view in and of themselves. There was an upstairs area that was closed when I attended, so I not sure what was in that area on display. However, they have old Egyptian tools, the history of optical, dental, nephrological, electrical, gynecological, etcetera items.

Small museum (one big room), all in French. A *lot* of trepanning kits.

I've seen a lot of medical museums (like 50+ medical museums it's a thing I have). The collection isn't the best annotated, but it's superbly collected and in a stunning setting. One of the best osteotome collections I've ever seen.

Takes about 30mins to walk around. Have an audio guide, so you understand what's going on. Loads of different medical instruments to look at. Very well set out and very clean. Not guided so able to go at your own pace and admire for as long as you want. Worth a visit. Cheaper tickets for students and children available. Plenty of parking outside the front for free.
